Many large black bears and the occasional huge grizzly
frequent the draws and meadows of this vast wilderness area. The abundant
berries, lush meadows and plentiful small furbearer prey satisfy the appetite
of bears preparing for hibernation.
Wolves
are plentiful, again because of the bountiful prey for them to hunt. Your wolf and bear hunts are included with the moose hunt,
the only added expense is the licence and tag fees.
